Forensic Architectural Engineer

Essential Functions- Managing project schedule, scope, and fee to ensure successful projects and satisfied clients.
- Direct and conduct forensic investigations including analysis and report preparation, and field exploration and testing related to building envelope projects.
- Preparation of observation and forensic reports and proposals.
- Manage client relationships and basic business development efforts.
- Attend site meetings and address CA tasks such as submittal review and answering RFIs.
- Mentor Jr Envelope Staff.

Requirements- Project Management experience and professional experience as an Architect, PE, or RRC.
- Desired certifications: RRO/RRC, QAP, CxA+BE, BECx, certified IR Thermographer, certified Air Barrier Tester.
- Public and private sector project experience.
- Interest in marketing and Business Development.
- Dependable, knowledgeable, reliable, high attention to detail and initiative.
- Self‑motivated with time‑management skills.
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members.
- Basic proficiency in REvit or ability to produce drawings/details preferred.
- Ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time.
- Ability to operate in confined spaces such as a cubicle.
- Ability to use phones and computers.
