Staff Scientist 2 – Apex Companies

• Collect soil, water, air and building‑material samples.
• Gather, analyze and interpret sampling data.
• Write technical reports and proposals.
• Actively pursue your own career growth.

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 4–6 years of environmental field sampling and data collection experience.
• Experience with Texas corrective action programs: TRRP, LPST, IOP, VCP, Spill Rules, RC programs.
• Capacity to respond to short‑term emergency response efforts.
• Strong technical writing, multitasking, safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices.
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Light construction experience/hands‑on skills a plus.
• Experience with data management and report preparation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
