Environmental Assistant Project Manager

Join ECS Group of Companies as an Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact and collaborate with staff members on a variety of projects
• Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Interface with contractors and other site personnel on project sites daily
• Keep supervisor informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites.
• Schedule, train and oversee environmental technicians.
• Possess completed internal Phase I ESA training.
• Complete Phase I ESAs under the direction of supervisor
• Perform site reconnaissance, file review and report preparation accompanied by senior staff
• Possess acceptable basic technical writing skills with regard to basic conventions of spelling, grammar, and professional content; collaborate with more senior staff to produce reports and improve writing skills as necessary under the direction of supervisors and principal reviewers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other engineering degree applicable to environmental consulting, natural or environmental science, geology, or other relevant degrees.
• No experience needed.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.

Skills And Abilities

• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and applications.
• Basic knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods.
• Interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds multiple times each day and walk on uneven ground through various terrains.
