Radiology Tech

Salary Range:$30-$38 per hour

Schedule:Full-time

Perform Radiology exams at a technical level not requiring immediate supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with integrity and initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Perform radiological exams.

Assign images with proper identification, date, time and labeling for Radiologist reads.

Review images for quality before completion of exam.

Maintain knowledge of anatomy & select the proper technical factors to produce high quality images, along with proper positioning of the patient and equipment.

Obtain and utilize pertinent medical history to obtain optimum exams, and communicate with other medical professionals.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Active listening, social perceptiveness, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing time and responsibilities, as well as prioritizing exams independently.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow all safety and compliance standards.

Dependable - job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable and fulfillment of obligations.

Experience:

1+years hospital experience preferred

CT experience preferred

Certification:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist

Licensed with the IL Department of Nuclear Safety
