The Procedural/Operating Room Technician supports safe and effective invasive procedures by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-prepared procedural/operating room environment. This role maintains equipment cleanliness, room readiness, and supply availability to maximize patient safety.

• Set up procedural/operating room equipment according to daily case schedules.
• Clean and reset rooms after each procedure, including removal of trash/linen, disinfecting equipment and beds, and mopping floors.
• Clean, maintain, and prepare surgical/procedural equipment and supplies.
• Maintain inventory of clean, sterilized equipment, instruments, and supplies per hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Pull and prepare surgical/procedural cases prior to scheduled dates; manage add-on/emergency case setup.
• Stock rooms and equipment areas; check for outdated supplies.
• Follow infection control policies, AORN practices, OSHA guidelines, and all regulatory standards.
• Participate in on‑call coverage, sharing responsibilities fairly among staff.

• High School Diploma required
• Certification as an Anesthesia Technologist preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer)
