Job Duties Clinical

• Respond to emergency situations and complete required documentation
• Provide backup as Shift Leader and/or Rehab Tech duties as needed
• Address patient issues ( Assessments, direct patient care, special tracking log)
• Ensure communication of specific concerns regarding patient safety or health
• Monitor and assist with dispensing of medications , as needed
• Provide patient/care-giver education for medical conditions and medications
• Communicate with On Call or/or physicians/office nurse , as needed
• Model, teach and mentor the Rehabilitation Technicians on the Pate Core Values and Customer Service Quality Standards
• Review and update as needed MAR's, PRN lists, and/or procedure records
• Monitor patients vital signs, weights, hydration, output, food, intake, labs, blood sugar, responsiveness, skin integrity, etc, to ensure medical stability

• Supervise, educate, and develop Shift Leaders and Residential staff
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation of care provided within the facility
• Provide exceptional customer service, including patient/caregiver education and communication with patient care team
• Ensure adequate supplies are available for all facility staff
• Maintain a working knowledge of standards and regulations for THHSC, CARF, CRS, and CDC
• Other duties as assigned by location

• Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
