Software Development Engineer, Woot

Join the software engineering team behind Woot, Inc., the original daily deals website. We build the web and app experiences that let customers browse, purchase, and find the right deals at the right time.

• Take full ownership of strategic projects, building scalable, low‑latency products and services across teams.
• Design, develop, and improve systems, owning the entire lifecycle from product design to operations.
• Collaborate with internal customers to drive new solutions that impact internal and external customers.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical assessments and code reviews, and make independent medium‑impact decisions.
• Shape product direction through stakeholder collaboration and convert business requirements to technical designs.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language.
• 3+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.
• 5+ years of programming using a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.

You’ll join the Data & Fulfillment Team, where we power Woot’s data ecosystem and order fulfillment operations. Our mission is to transform raw business data into actionable insights while ensuring every customer order flows seamlessly from click to delivery.
