IT Support, Systems Administrator
Description
Dandy is hiring an IT Systems Administrator I to join our rapidly growing venture‑backed company. The IT Department owns all technology needs for Dandy. In this role, you’ll assist the IT Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team with various tasks to ensure the high reliability of the IT infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network, server, workstation, and cloud systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of all IT systems.
- Manage user accounts and access controls, including Active Directory and other authentication mechanisms.
- Provide technical support to end‑users, including remote support.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of IT.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support and incident response.
- Provide on‑site office support five days per week.
You’re expected to work on a Hyper‑V cluster (2 physical servers with a SAN), primarily support a lab environment, and handle day‑to‑day “help‑desk” tasks such as setting up stations, moving stations, refreshing computers, break‑fixes, and printer configuration.

Skills & Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCP (bonus)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with asset management tools
- Experience with automation systems (Better Cloud, Zapier)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Intermediate Level (2‑3 years required)
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Carrollton, TX. Fully onsite.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $35.00 – $55.00/hr
