IT Support, Systems Administrator
Overview
Dandy is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to support our rapidly growing venture‑backed company. The IT Department owns all technology needs for Dandy. In this role you will assist the IT Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team with various tasks to ensure the high reliability of the IT infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network, server, workstation, and cloud systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of all IT systems.
- Manage user accounts and access controls, including Active Directory and other authentication mechanisms.
- Provide technical support to end‑users, including remote support.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of IT.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support and incident response.
- On‑site office support to be provided five days per week.
- iOS, macOS, Windows, Active Directory, Jira, Asset Management
- Years of experience: 2-3 years.
- Hard worker, go‑getter, personable, with strong communication skills.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Experience with automation systems (Better Cloud, Zapier), scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash, Python) is a plus.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices is a plus.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP or equivalent certifications are a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Contract position based out of Carrollton, TX. Pay range: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour.
Benefits & OnboardingOn‑site office support five days per week. Onboarding will involve an introductory session with senior IT staff and a tour of the laboratory and manufacturing facilities.
