IT Field Support Tech

Our client, a fast-growing healthcare services organization, is seeking a IT Field Support Tech to join their team. As a IT Field Support Tech, you will be part of the Field Services & Infrastructure team supporting multi-practice locations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, the ability to communicate clearly with end users, and the drive to deliver reliable onsite support across a wide range of environments.

Location:

Carrollton, TX 75006 (100% onsite). Travel: 80% - all across US (Typical travel duration 2-3 days). Pay Range: $70000.

Deploy, configure, and support IT equipment at practice locations and headquarters, including servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network-connected devices. Perform onsite installations and refreshes of PC and Mac systems while following company standards and rollout procedures. Coordinate IT equipment rollouts, relocations, and decommissions across multiple sites, including new offices and acquisitions. Serve as an escalation point for complex issues by providing Tier 3 support for advanced hardware, software, and infrastructure problems.

Support Windows Server and virtual infrastructure environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, and assist with server/VM provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and patching.

• 5+ years of IT onsite/field support experience, including infrastructure and end-user support across multiple locations.
• Intermediate to strong experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory administration, and Group Policy.
• Hands-on troubleshooting knowledge across networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and the ability to install and support network equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve advanced Windows and macOS issues, with strong documentation and customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 80% across the US) and support after-hours and weekend coverage as required.
