We are a rapidly growing personal injury law firm seeking a full-time Paralegal with at least 3 years of pre-litigation PI experience. In this role, you will manage cases through treatment until they are ready for demand, write detailed demand letters, and negotiate settlements. • Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
• Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings
• Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer
• Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
• Organize and manage client files from intake to settlement
• Assist with tracking medical providers and ordering records, and bills
• Review medical records and bills, and verify that all records have been obtained
• Update adjusters and clients regarding case status, and handle some new client intake calls
• Handling some new client (PNC) intake calls - backup only
• Draft personal injury demand letters
Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
• Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • 3 years or more of Personal Injury experience
• Ability to learn, grow, and be part of a team committed to doing a great job
• Knowledge of Needles case management software is not required, but is a plus
• Experience writing personalized demand letters is not required, but is a plus
• Negotiation experience is not required, but is a plus! Compensation: $60,000+ DOE plus quarterly performance bonuses
• Organize and manage client files from intake to settlement

Compensation:
$60,000 per year
