PositionSummary
The Team Lead serves as a peer leader within the Collections Team, exemplifying the high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service. This individual supports the collection teams by mentoring colleagues, reinforcing company values and promoting a positive and productive work environment. The Team Lead is not a formal supervisor but plays a critical part in team development and operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Pull daily reporting for Collections.
- Demonstrate consistent top-tier performance.
- Serve as a go-to resource for peers, offering guidance, support and informal coaching.
- Model professionalism, integrity and accountability in all aspects of work.
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires by sharing best practices and helping them acclimate to the team culture.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by encouraging collaboration and respectful communication.
- Provide feedback to leadership on team morale, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in special projects, pilot programs, or process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Help reinforce adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in collections call center.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and influence peers positively.
- High level of emotional intelligence and professionalism.
- Willingness to support others and contribute to team success.
