Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
CTL Medical Corporation d/b/a CTL Amedica is an ISO 13485 certified, and FDA registered Medical Device Company headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. CTL designs, manufactures, and distributes medical device products and systems for spinal surgeons; specifically implants and devices.
The company is currently seeking a second-shift CNC machine operator. The candidate will have experience in either Swiss Lathes and/or Mill/Mill Turn machines.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Setup and Operate 5 axis Vertical Machining Center
- Setup and Operate Swiss Style Lathes
- Setup and Operate Mill-Turn machine
- Perform product inspections including First Piece and In-Process Inspection
- Troubleshoot NC programs and equipment
- Participate in qualification activities
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Complete required quality system documents accurately
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Experience operating CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or Mill-Turn machines
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Ability to effectively use measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, Video Measuring System, etc. to perform product inspections
- Ability to interpret complex product drawings
- Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Medical device or related manufacturing experience
- Trade school or vocational school related with studies in CNC machining
- ISO 13485 knowledge
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Full Time, Second Shift, Monday through Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
