Job Description / Responsibilities

Buzz Ballz is seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Materials Supervisor to lead materials planning and inventory management in support of Bottling Operations. This role owns MRP data accuracy, material availability, and inventory performance while supervising the materials team to ensure production demands are met safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively. The Materials Supervisor plays a key role in continuous improvement, cost savings initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration to support business growth and operational excellence.

Duties

And Responsibilities
  • Supervise materials operations to ensure components are available on time to support bottling and production schedules.
  • Own and maintain MRP data, parameters, and ordering requirements to ensure accuracy and forward‑looking material planning.
  • Create purchase orders, oversee receipt of direct materials, and ensure accurate inventory transactions in company systems.
  • Lead cycle counts, manage aging or at‑risk inventory, and support FIFO and inventory turn initiatives.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Planning, and Bottling teams to prevent material‑related downtime and improve service levels.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement and cost savings projects while meeting assigned KPIs and budget targets.
Qualifications / Requirements Must‑Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred within a related supply chain field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, but not more than 10 years, in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience integrating systems within an AS400 environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Nice‑to‑Haves
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar operational environment.
  • Background supporting materials, inventory, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with MRP or ERP systems in a production setting.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, TQM, or Six Sigma.
