- Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Set up and complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
- Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
- Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
- Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Estimate workload to establish completion dates.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Compensation
:
This is a salaried non‑exempt role. Employees receive a salary and overtime pay when working more than 40 hours in a week. The starting salary range is $42,000 – $54,600 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography, market, and the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
Employees are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the company’s applicable plan.
