Global Harvest Church is a Christ-centered, multicultural Southern Baptist church in Carrollton, TX. We are passionate about sharing the gospel, building a vibrant worship community, and equipping people of all ages to grow in faith and serve locally and globally.

The Kids Ministry Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Global Harvest Church (GHC) by assisting with the leadership, organization, and administration of Kids Ministry (Kindergarten–5th Grade). This role ensures that programs run smoothly, volunteers are supported, and ministry events reflect the heart and vision of GHC.

• Manage administrative processes, including volunteer paperwork, background checks, and safety training.
• Help recruit, coordinate and train Kids ministry volunteers.
• Collaborate with the Preschool Director to plan and execute joint ministry events (e.g., Vacation Bible School, Trunk or Treat, Christmas performances, Easter Egg Hunt).
• Purchase, organize, and distribute classroom supplies and ministry resources.
• Ensure classrooms and Kids area is fully prepared for Sunday services.
• Create ministry-related promotional materials such as postcards, brochures, and posters both printed and digital.
• Maintain and manage Planning Center for Kids Ministry (reports, workflows, scheduling, etc.).
• Support the Kids Elementary Director with other ministry-related tasks as needed.

• Meet weekly with the Kids Elementary Director for program updates
• Participate in Sunday morning staff meetings.
• Attend at least one adult service weekly.
• Take part in workshops, trainings, and conferences for professional and spiritual growth.

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated by integrity and faithfulness.
• Genuine love for children and commitment to their spiritual growth.

• Fully committed to the responsibilities of the role and the success of Kids Ministry programs.

• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• Some experience recruiting, equipping, and encouraging volunteers.
• Strong proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, internet tools, Planning Center, Canva, and a willingness to learn and manage new platforms.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic ministry environment.
