Work hours:
Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

- LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (required)
- Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)
- 1 year LVN experience (strongly preferred)
- ACLS or BCLS (required upon hire)
- Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies
- Knowledge of state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
- Demonstrate sound judgment and composure
- Ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
- Maintain a positive, caring attitude towards staff and patients
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Efficient time management skills
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the LVN Process
- Triage patient calls and communicates with the provider
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families
- Performs specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of cardiology
- Collects patient data such as vital signs, notes how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli and reports this information accordingly
- Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices
- Administers certain prescribed medications and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response
- Performs other duties as assigned
