What You’ll Be Doing
In this position, you’ll take the lead on service calls that require strong technical judgment. You’ll work hands‑on with a wide range of commercial HVAC systems such as:
- Rooftop & packaged systems
- Hydronic equipment (pumps, boilers, heat exchangers)
- Specialized or large‑scale HVAC assemblies
- Control systems/BAS where applicable
Daily work may include identifying system faults, performing corrective repairs, supporting equipment start‑ups, evaluating system efficiency, documenting service findings, and communicating with customers and internal teams.
You may also provide guidance to newer technicians depending on project needs.
What Makes Someone a Great Fit- Several years of experience servicing commercial HVAC (not just residential).
- Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults.
- Comfortable working with modern HVAC technologies such as VRF or building controls.
- E.P.A. Universal Certification (required).
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, plans, and equipment documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in outdoor/rooftop environments.
- All major tools and meters provided
