Job Title: Security (Service) Technician

Location: Starting at $30/hr

Position Summary:

Anistar Technologies is seeking an Access Control (Service) Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

The technician leads teams or crews in the installation and performs service for new equipment installation, repairs, and system troubleshooting. The role supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation and service of security management solutions such as access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV systems, and related security systems. Install, configure, and test equipment until completion.

Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and repair equipment and devices as necessary.

Carry out all service calls in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety policies. Use troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in malfunctioning equipment or software.

Perform programming tasks to add CCTV cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.

Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.

Provide system integrations, upgrades, audits, consultations, and support for network systems and equipment.

Terminate equipment and field devices, verifying operation from the field to reporting systems.

Complete accurate and detailed service reports promptly for customer invoicing and job tracking.

Be adaptable and willing to complete any required tasks daily.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
Good communication skills and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Working knowledge of Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Open Options, and Genetec is a plus.
