What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Speechify’s Product Teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, navigate integration/UX tradeoffs across product teams, and deliver solutions via our cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize existing functionality to ship faster loading and more intelligent parsing by designing more efficient abstractions and improving algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

An ideal candidate should have

• Systems thinking: end-to-end design and value simplicity.
• Speed: ability to generate ideas quickly and decide what can ship now vs. later.
• Focus: operate effectively in a high-growth, remote team environment.
• Collaboration:
  
  ability to inspire and negotiate with designers, marketers, and PMs.
• Preferred Tech Stack:
  Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience acceptable but focus is Kotlin Multiplatform); prior experience with GCP is a plus.

Salary

The United States-based salary range for this role is: ,000 USD/year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience.
