Warehouse Picking Associate

Position Summary

Accurately selects, packs, and ships finished goods or raw materials according to what is required from a provided picking list.

• Picks product using the SA AWS system following all applicable SOP’s.
• Confirms correct items and quantities per picking ticket or additional documentation.
• Places product on provided cart or pallet in an organized fashion.
• Identifies inventory issues and communicates these to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
• Generates packing lists, manifests, BOLs, and arranges for transportation.
• Is aware of and identifies hazardous materials and ensures safe and appropriate transportation of hazardous materials.
• Promptly notify supervisor or warehouse manager of any backorders.
• Maintains accurate inventory control by following all SOPs and processes and participates in inventory counts.
• Keeps and maintains all required records of materials sent.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Keeps the respective area of the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1‑3 months of relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to accurately count and measure items.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to identify and resolve minor issues.
