Marketing Manager (Head of Marketing)

Kubbi Bikes – Carryduff, Northern Ireland

Permanent | Full-Time | Primarily Office-Based

£38,000 – £45,000 + Performance Bonus (Linked to Revenue & Growth)

Kubbi Bikes is a fast-growing Northern Irish startup building a leading electric mobility brand for kids. We specialise in electric dirt bikes, quads, and scooters — and we have serious ambitions to dominate the UK and Ireland markets.

We are not building a lifestyle business.

We are building a serious brand.

Our team is young, energetic, and execution-focused. We move fast. We test constantly. We care about results.

We are hiring a Marketing Manager to lead and own the entire marketing function.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is not a “post a few socials” job.

This is a growth-driving, revenue-accountable leadership role.

You will work directly with the founder in a collaborative but high‑autonomy environment. You will be trusted to make decisions, launch campaigns, optimise aggressively, and deliver measurable sales growth.

If you want comfort and structure — this won’t suit you.

If you want ownership, speed, and impact — keep reading.

The Role

You will own strategy and execution across paid and organic channels, with a primary focus on:

  • Meta Ads (Instagram & Facebook)
  • Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max)

The objective is simple:

Increase visibility. Drive qualified traffic. Convert sales. Scale profitably.

You will plan, build, launch and optimise campaigns weekly. Speed and iteration matter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute paid and organic marketing strategy across Meta and Google.
  • Build, launch and manage campaigns weekly (creative, copy, targeting, budgeting, scheduling).
  • Monitor performance daily and optimise based on real data.
  • Test creatives, audiences, landing pages, offers and bidding strategies.
  • Produce or coordinate high‑performing creative content (short‑form video, ad visuals, copy).
  • Track performance using Google Analytics and ad platform data.
  • Report clearly on revenue impact, ROAS, CAC and growth metrics.
  • Support broader digital growth as we scale (email marketing, website optimisation, influencer collaborations).

You will be accountable for growth — not just activity.

Essential Experience (Must‑Have)

We are prioritising candidates who demonstrate:

Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience running paid campaigns on Meta and Google Ads for e‑commerce or consumer brands.

Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth (not just engagement metrics).

Strong understanding of:

  • Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • ROAS / ROI
  • Conversion rate optimisation
  • Sales funnels & paid traffic strategy

Ability to independently plan, launch and optimise campaigns without needing constant direction.

Commercial mindset — you understand that marketing exists to generate profit.

Highly Desirable
  • Experience scaling DTC e‑commerce brands.
  • Experience growing paid spend while maintaining or improving ROAS.
  • Strong creative instincts — you know what converts.
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast‑moving startup environment.
  • High personal standards and strong work ethic.
Who This Role Is For

This role suits someone who:

  • Moves fast and executes without being chased.
  • Thinks commercially, not just creatively.
  • Enjoys pressure and responsibility.
  • Wants to step into a Head of Marketing‑level role.
  • Is ambitious and wants to build something significant.

It will not suit someone looking for low intensity or heavy structure.

Location & Working Style

This is primarily an office‑based role in Carryduff to ensure strong collaboration and speed of execution. Some flexibility may be considered once established in the role.

Bonus Structure

Performance‑based bonus tied directly to:

  • Campaign performance
  • Revenue growth
  • Overall company growth

Strong performance will be rewarded.

How to Apply

Send the following to :

  • Your CV - no longer than 3 pages.
  • A short note (max 300 words) explaining:
  • Campaign results you’re most proud of
  • What you scaled
  • Why you want to lead marketing at a startup

We are hiring for impact, not just experience.

We will wait for the right person — but we are ready to move quickly for someone exceptional.
