Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Carryduff. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily operations, oversee food preparation, and ensure quality and consistency in all dishes. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing inventory, supervising kitchen staff, and contributing to menu planning. The role involves working closely with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences and uphold Smoke BBQ Ltd’s high standards.
Qualifications- A strong background in culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Experience in kitchen management, staff supervision, and training other team members
- Knowledge of menu planning, inventory control, and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Culinary education or relevant certifications are an advantage
- Previous experience in BBQ or smokehouse-style cuisine is a plus
