Position OverviewCommercial Operations Associate
The Commercial Operations Associate provides essential administrative and transactional support to the Commercial Operations team. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, order processing, system updates, and basic reporting that enable timely customer support, order fulfillment, and revenue operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in systems and spreadsheets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Enter purchase orders and related commercial transactions into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain and update order statuses, customer records, and pricing details
- Support invoicing workflows by ensuring data completeness and accuracy
- Assist with basic issue resolution related to order discrepancies or missing information
- Serve as a support resource for customer inquiries related to order status, documentation, and basic transactional questions
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure timely and accurate processing of commercial activities
- Track and follow up on outstanding requests to completion Data Management & Reporting
- Perform routine data entry, cleanup, and validation across commercial systems
- Generate basic reports (e.g., order volumes, transaction counts, backlog status) using Excel or internal tools
· Maintain organized digital records and documentation to support audits and reporting needs Process & Administrative Support - Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for commercial transactions
· Identify data or process issues and elevate as needed - Support ad-hoc administrative tasks and team initiatives as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or data-entry role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting (filters, pivot tables a plus)
- Comfortable working in multiple systems and managing repetitive tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience supporting sales, customer service, or operations teams
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or order management systems
- Experience working with purchase orders, invoices, or transactional data
- Able to manage routine tasks while meeting deadlines
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
- Familiarity with WMS and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety gloves, helmets, and eyewear, or additional PPE when required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, including listening and speaking
- Office setting
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
