If you enjoy working with your hands, have some professional automotive or mechanical service experience, and want to build a career working on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles, this could be a great opportunity for you.
We're looking for someone who has experience performing basic maintenance, is comfortable using their own tools, and is eager to learn from experienced technicians.
You don't need to be a master technician or have years of powersports experience. We're looking for someone with a solid mechanical foundation, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn and grow.
What You'll Do- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication services.
- Assist with tire changes, battery replacements, and other basic service work.
- Complete basic inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Perform entry-level mechanical repairs and service tasks based on your experience and training.
- Assist experienced technicians with more advanced repairs and service work.
- Work on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles.
- Help prepare vehicles for service, inspection, and customer delivery.
- Safely operate and test-drive vehicles when authorized and qualified.
- Follow service procedures and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly maintain and organize personal tools and equipment.
- Continue developing your mechanical skills through hands-on experience and training.
- Previous professional experience in an automotive, powersports, motorcycle, or mechanical service environment required.
- Basic experience performing oil changes, fluid services, inspections, or other routine maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Must have your own basic mechanic's tools and toolbox.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability and willingness to safely operate and test-drive vehicles as needed, subject to applicable licensing and authorization requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and work alongside experienced technicians.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing quality work.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Carson City, Nevada.
- Previous experience working in an automotive quick-lube shop, dealership service department, motorcycle shop, or powersports service center.
- Familiarity with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or personal watercraft.
- Experience with basic tire services, brake inspections, battery replacements, or general mechanical maintenance.
- Completion of an automotive, motorcycle, or powersports technical training program.
- Motorcycle endorsement or willingness to obtain one if required for assigned duties.
- Interest in advancing into a full Service Technician position.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and wants to continue developing their mechanical abilities.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has a basic understanding of mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Enjoys working with tools and performing hands-on service work.
- Is comfortable starting with oil changes and routine maintenance.
- Wants to learn more advanced repairs from experienced technicians.
- Takes care of their tools and maintains an organized workspace.
- Shows up ready to work and can be counted on by the team.
- Has a genuine interest in motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or the powersports industry.
At Ridezilla, you'll have the opportunity to turn your existing mechanical experience into a long-term career in the powersports industry.
Whether you're currently working in an automotive quick-lube shop, performing basic maintenance at a dealership, or looking to transition into powersports service, we want to hear from you!
