Casino Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, implements and directs Customer Development Campaigns and Casino Promotional Programs to increase market share and gaming revenues. Gathers and organizes market trend information, analyzes casino and player business, and completes reports. Plans, implements, and evaluates advertising campaigns, player promotions, and business development strategies. Creates and executes casino promotions and special events, coordinates outside entertainment, evaluates competitor operations, and performs other duties as required.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

The position is distinguished from other marketing roles by its responsibility for operations and implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions.

Essential Functions:

• Achieve Customer Development and Casino Promotions goals by creating, implementing, managing, and measuring strategies through an annual Marketing Plan to meet business, market share, and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with casino operations to develop and manage programs that drive revenue and guest excitement.
• Develop, plan, and perform duties related to entertainment, including booking talent, coordinating contracts, and managing logistics such as transportation, housing, and hospitality.
• Maintain and update the Marketing Checkbook and work with Finance on monthly marketing P&L statements.
• Coordinate Pro and Postformas for events, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Create promotions, amenities, and offers based on player preferences and trends; measure their success in increasing attendance and revenue.
• Manage marketing activities by working with advertising and promotions teams to publicize the Nugget's services, entertainment, and events.
• Retain and grow mid- and high-level players using marketing tools like direct mail, telemarketing, referrals, and on-floor promotions.
• Analyze marketing data and industry research to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and competitor activities.
• Liaise with community and non-profit organizations for sponsor ships and support.
