Consumer Loan Processor

About the Position
Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely funding and disbursement of consumer loans (auto, personal, unsecured, secured, etc.). The role verifies loan documentation for completeness and compliance, coordinates with branches, dealers, or members, and ensures funds are released in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service‑level standards. Attention to detail, strong knowledge of lending procedures, and excellent communication are essential.

• Conduct quality‑control review of all loans prior to funding.
• Ensure all lien, insurance, collateral purchase information, and funding instructions are received and complete from loan officers before funding.
• Provide detailed instructions to branches or dealerships for loan funding to ensure correct documentation is received and signed.
• Provide operational support for post‑funding activities including audit requests, due‑date changes, trailing loan items, and addition or removal of ancillary loan products.
• Apply appropriate procedures and reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.

• 1 year of lending or financial institution experience.

• Ability to multitask and operate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proper time management.
• Strong customer service skills in internal and external communications.

• Required to sit, use keyboard, monitors, mouse, telephone for extended periods; stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel frequently.
• Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds; above 40 requires team lift.

• Salary: $42,000.00–$58,500 per year (dependent on experience).
