Carson City Respiratory Care Per Diem Variable Shift About Carson Tahoe Health CTH is a not-for-profit healthcare system with 240 licensed acute care beds, fully accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). We serve a population of over 250,000 and feature two hospitals, two urgent cares, an emergent care center, outpatient services and a provider network with 19 regional locations.

Provides respiratory care including therapeutic treatments, management, diagnostic testing, control and care of persons with deficiency and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system under the direction of a physician and/or by prescription. May serve in a relief Lead capacity.

Required

• A current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners.
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential with RRT eligibility acceptable. Current and Maintained NBRC license is required for all credentials obtained after 2002.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare provider’s certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for healthcare providers within ninty (90) days of hire.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers within ninty (90) days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within ninty (90) days of hire.
• Blood Gas Technologist license issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) of Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) within ninty (90) days of hire.

• (1) One-year of Acute Care hospital experience
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) credential
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential
