Provides direct patient care in Physical Therapy services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy and develops treatment plans. Supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and technician in delivery of Physical Therapy services.

Educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an APTA accredited physical therapy program.
• Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Nevada or current interim permit.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred.
• Experience working with adult/geriatric/general population.
• Ortho and Stroke experience

• BLS/CPR certification for Health Care Providers is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years recent experience in Physical Therapist preferred.
• Knowledge of Orthopedic and Post-surgical, Stroke Aquatic therapy Sports and Hand injuries
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, nurses, patients and their families and co-workers.
• Must be able to take call Additional requirements
  - Rural outreach staff
• Current unrestricted drivers license, DMV printout and proof of insurance required
