What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring their satisfaction and the effective adoption of VMware solutions
• Establish long‑term relationships with assigned accounts, understanding their strategic goals and challenges
• Provide project leadership and architectural guidance for customer network virtualization initiatives
• Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to map VMware solutions to customer requirements
• Report key account metrics and insights to internal teams and contribute to program development activities

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 12+ years of strong networking experience and knowledge of VMware networking products
• 2+ years of experience in customer‑facing roles, ideally as a Technical Account Manager or technology consultant
• BS degree preferred or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree
• VMware Certified Professional Certification (VCP) or the ability to obtain it within 90 days
• Solid technical background in advanced networking and security concepts

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with integrating heterogeneous networking and security environments
• Familiarity with systems management concepts and capacity/performance management
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple client demands
• Demonstrable experience with networking and load balancer technologies from various vendors
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
