Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Northern Nevada office in Carson City. Our firm specializes in Industrial Litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.

• Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
• Draft pleadings, legal documents, and professional correspondence; conduct thorough and accurate legal research.
• Collaborate effectively with a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
• Utilize electronic legal billing software (
  Clio
  ) and the electronic case management system (
  Filevine
  ) to manage matters efficiently.
• Develop and execute thoughtful, client-focused case strategies with meticulous attention to detail.
• Meet or exceed established monthly billing requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that extend beyond basic representation.

• Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable, flexible, and dependable.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines.
• Be able to meet and exceed monthly billing requirements.
• This is an in‑office position and must live in the Northern Nevada area.
• Ability to bring A-Game Daily!

Annual Salary of $100,000+
