Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for a committed Law Clerk to join our growing Northern Nevada office in Carson City. The role offers hands-on experience and helps build a strong foundation of knowledge and skills for those pursuing a career as a licensed attorney. We specialize in Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, and Industrial Insurance Litigation, serving a diverse clientele that includes employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.
Compensation: $60,000+ annually
Responsibilities- Support attorneys in Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, and Industrial Insurance Litigation
- Conduct legal research, draft memoranda and pleadings, and assist with case preparation
- Currently in law school, or recently graduated, and seeking hands-on experience to pursue a career as a licensed attorney
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
