Senior Project Manager

• Manage complex research and technical assistance projects from proposal through completion
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with organizational goals
• Lead project team meetings and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Establish and enforce quality standards for all project outputs and conduct reviews of deliverables
• Identify new project opportunities and support grant proposal development

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in managing research projects
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional teams
• Familiarity with compliance and reporting tasks, including funder progress reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• 4-8 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, especially with public safety organizations
• Experience working in a university setting and managing research‑driven projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
