Source Inc. – a global leader in workforce solutions – is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our operations in Carson City, NV. Shift: Both 2nd and 3rd shift available.
Salary range: $70,000 – $93,000 per year
Responsibilities- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct tests to locate mechanical system malfunctions.
- Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to diagnose issues.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.
- Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricate and clean parts.
- Use machine tools in installation, maintenance or repair.
- Start devices to test performance.
- Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
- Utilize braze-welding equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance shop.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.
• High school diploma or GED and three to five years related experience or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
