Base salary: $41,600 – $49,920 per year. Performance bonuses and leasing/renewal incentives are available.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Consultant to support Parkway Plaza Apartments, a 316‑unit tax‑credit (affordable) community in Carson City, NV. The role requires strong sales and leasing skills and is responsible for all aspects of leasing, including showing apartments, processing applications, interacting with residents and vendors, and maintaining the property to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Represent IPG in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Assist in all aspects of leasing, including touring units, processing applications, answering phones, and managing inquiries.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants through the community, units, and common areas.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants, including following up on leads and hosting promotional events.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, employees, and associated agencies.
  • Complete resident move‑ins and move‑outs in compliance with company procedures.
  • Work closely with the property manager and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless living experience for residents.
  • Monitor local market conditions and competitor activities to provide insights that support effective leasing strategies.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and respect when interacting with residents, team members, vendors, and community stakeholders.
  • Contribute to achieving occupancy goals and promoting a quality living experience by effectively performing leasing tasks.
  • Serve as a resource for management and assist in developing more efficient methods of maintaining the apartment community.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1+ year(s) experience as a leasing agent at a multifamily community of 100+ units (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict resolution, complaints, and provide high‑quality customer service tailored to a diverse community.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the property.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Marketing and sales skills to promote vacant units and maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • 1+ year(s) experience working at a tax‑credit, project‑based, or LIHTC multifamily community (preferred).
