Position: Dining Server - 3 split shifts on weekends

Position Summary

As a Server in our community restaurant, you provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. Your role ensures that residents’ dietary needs are met while fostering a welcoming dining environment. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a supportive work atmosphere with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
  • Takes meal orders accurately and delivers food and beverages promptly.
  • Ensures meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
  • Prepares the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
  • Clears tables promptly after meals, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Resets tables for the next meal service.
  • Communicates resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
  • Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines, and complies with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
  • Works in a fast‑paced environment and handles multiple tasks simultaneously.
Candidate Qualifications Education and Certificates
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Food Handler Card and knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: $13.00 per hour
