As a Server in our community restaurant, you provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. Your role ensures that residents’ dietary needs are met while fostering a welcoming dining environment. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a supportive work atmosphere with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities- Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
- Takes meal orders accurately and delivers food and beverages promptly.
- Ensures meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
- Prepares the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
- Clears tables promptly after meals, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Resets tables for the next meal service.
- Communicates resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
- Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines, and complies with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
- Works in a fast‑paced environment and handles multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Food Handler Card and knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Salary: $13.00 per hour
