OverviewAs a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You will engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales. You will actively connect with customers, recommend products and services, and help create a vibrant sales culture. Supporting store visual standards, logistics, and customer satisfaction are key aspects of this role.
Training in technology and print products will equip you to assist customers effectively, using sales principles to contribute to business growth.
Experience:
- Proactively acknowledge and engage customers.
- Promote sales of solutions, products, and services.
- Be aware of promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
- Follow signage, labeling, and stocking guidelines.
- Manage freight and inventory levels.
Skills:
- Develop sales skills and product knowledge through training.
- Pursue certifications as needed.
- Follow company policies and support loss prevention.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No previous experience required.
- Basic computer skills and good communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to read, count, and write for documentation and inventory.
- Positive, client-focused, and action-oriented attitude.
