Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for a cleared (Top Secret with polygraph) Site Security Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and manage the daily operations of a team of armed security guards at a sensitive site.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead a Security Team in a Data Center Secure environment according to Customer expectations and Statement of Work/Work Order.
- Control access to the facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, while ensuring all personnel entering the site have the proper credentials.
- Maintain or oversee maintenance of weekly operating schedules and provide after-hours emergency response as required.
- Oversee response to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during the day or night.
- Oversee the execution of the program management plan and Statement of Work/Work Order.
- Meet or exceed cost‑saving/efficiency & operational goals while providing exceptional customer service.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to subordinates within the work group according to customer requirements.
- Monitor productivity and proficiency to ensure that completed assignments meet the Customer’s required quality standards, budgets, and procedures.
- Participate in interview and selection processes as needed.
- Maintain clear and concise work standards and goals, and provide training and development.
- Ensure that personnel are thoroughly trained in and observe all safety measures related to their work area according to Customer requirements.
- Assume regular Security Officer roles and responsibilities.
- Facilitate communication and act as point of contact for security matters at a specific location, responsible for coordinating communication between on‑site security personnel, PMO and Customer while ensuring compliance with security protocols, by actively monitoring site conditions, identifying potential risks, and facilitating timely responses to security incidents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports – must have familiarity in KPI metrics, analysis, and reporting.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Must have an active and current TS/SCI with Poly.
- College/University degree or program certificate; OR ten (10) years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) years’ experience in either Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security, or the United States Armed Forces.
- Minimum of at least five (5) years' experience in security management or program management, with a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role within the government contracting/security sector.
- Must have at least one of the following:
Experience in a State licensed security services occupation or be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed Forces. - Strong understanding of federal regulations, compliance requirements and security operations.
- Proven track record in managing large‑scale security programs, exceptional problem‑solving abilities, and experience with advanced security technologies.
- Experience supporting government programs/contracts within the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency and a working knowledge of company policies and procedures.
