The Role

Field Service Technician – responsible for on‑site installation, repair, and maintenance of adhesive and sealant dispensing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Location:

Carson City, NV (must live within 30 miles of Carson City). Requires frequent travel to client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customers for technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting.
  • Install adhesive equipment at customer locations.
  • Act as technical liaison between customers and the Applied team.
  • Recommend product solutions and process improvements to customers.
  • Document service reports in Service Max.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and complete required safety training.
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
Physical Requirements
  • Maintain a stationary position during service calls.
  • Communicate clear information and ideas to others.
  • Lift objects up to 25 lbs routinely; may lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Experience and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven experience in installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations.
  • Rapid problem diagnosis and practical solution implementation under pressure.
  • Clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Prioritization and schedule management skills for efficient job completion.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment as needed.
  • Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the field.
