Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician

The RoleField Service Technician – responsible for on‑site installation, repair, and maintenance of adhesive and sealant dispensing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Location:
Carson City, NV (must live within 30 miles of Carson City). Requires frequent travel to client sites.
- Travel to customers for technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting.
- Install adhesive equipment at customer locations.
- Act as technical liaison between customers and the Applied team.
- Recommend product solutions and process improvements to customers.
- Document service reports in Service Max.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and complete required safety training.
- Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
- Maintain a stationary position during service calls.
- Communicate clear information and ideas to others.
- Lift objects up to 25 lbs routinely; may lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven experience in installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations.
- Rapid problem diagnosis and practical solution implementation under pressure.
- Clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
- Prioritization and schedule management skills for efficient job completion.
- Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the field.
