Location: Carson, CA

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 + ~10% bonus (DOE)

Type: Full-time, Permanent (Onsite 5 days/week)

About the Opportunity

A well-established, multi-entity organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team at its Carson headquarters. The Controller and a lean, collaborative accounting group are looking for a strong, fundamentals-focused Senior Accountant, someone who can take true ownership of their areas of the close, ensure accuracy across the general ledger, and help strengthen processes as the team continues to stabilize and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own key aspects of the month‑end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity across the general ledger for multiple entities.
• Assist with balance sheet and P&L analysis, variance explanations, and reporting for management.
• Support audits, tax‑related requests, and other external reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accounting processes.
• Partner closely with the Controller and team to ensure timely, accurate financials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3‑8+ years of hands‑on accounting experience with solid GL and month‑end close ownership.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, reconciliations, and financial statement support.
• Experience in a multi‑entity environment a plus (any industry).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
