Job Description

Domino's Pizza is hiring General Managers. If you have judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask, you might be the boss we’re looking for. You will lead the store, ensure every team member follows company policies, and drive profitability. This role offers a fun, flexible work experience that can serve as lasting professional experience.

Responsibilities
  • All cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Staffing and scheduling.
  • Paperwork and required documentation.
  • Cost control and cash management.
  • Food management and scheduling.
  • Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
  • Marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Profitability oversight.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to the company’s policies and procedures, 100% of the time.
  • Set a positive example for crew members.
Qualifications
  • General job duties for all store team members.
  • Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare products according to company standards.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
Training
  • Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
Communication Skills
  • Ability to write correct instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
  • Process orders over the phone and in person in a clear manner.
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes in the work area.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces and tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing
    Most tasks performed from a standing position.
  • Walking
    Short distances for short durations. Surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum. Height of work surfaces is 36–48 in.
  • Sitting
    Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
  • Lifting
    Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb and dimensions up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft. Cases typically lifted from floor to shelves up to 72 in.
  • Carrying
    Large cans (~3 lb), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of pizza dough (~12 lb each).
  • Pushing
    Move trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 lb force.
  • Climbing
    Occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance.
  • Stooping / Bending
    Forward bending at pizza assembly station and front counter; repeats up to 45 s at a time.
  • Crouching / Squatting
    Occasional for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
  • Reaching
    Continuous reaching up, down, and forward; up to 72 in for operating ovens or changing signs.
  • Hand Tasks
    Eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough; manipulating pizza peel and cutter; pinching during box assembly.
  • Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
    Utilize pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.
