* Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business objectives
* Ensure full compliance with California and multi-state labor laws, tax regulations, and employment standards, proactively mitigating risks
* Build and optimize scalable HR operations, including payroll, benefits, performance management, and compensation structures.
* Strengthen employee relations by building trust, resolving conflicts, and driving employee’s engagement initiatives
* Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to support rapid business growth.
* Lead the employee discount sales channel
* Partner with executives to design organizational structures and support data-driven decision making.
* Drive compliance reporting, audits, and required filings.
* Minimum 3+ years of HR management experience with proven expertise in both strategic planning and hands-on execution
* Bilingual in Korean and English
* Strong understanding of California and multi-state employment laws, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirements
* Demonstrated success implementing HR systems and scalable process in high-growth or startup environments
* Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills with a focus on building trust
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization with high levels of ownership and problem-solving skills.
