Repair & Overhaul Technician I - 2nd shift (H/F) - MAG AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES, LLC
In this role you will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in manufacturers’ instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. You will also be responsible for preliminary, hidden‑damage, in‑process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles using manufacturer instructions and FAA‑approved data.
- Conduct preliminary, hidden‑damage, in‑process, and final inspections.
- Adhere to technical data, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and industry standards.
- Basic math skills and ability to comprehend varying units of measure.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and take initiative.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read, comprehend written and process specification documents.
- Computer skills to access CMM's, drawings, etc.
- Specific FAA required training.
