Garda World Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Security Officer!

This position requires a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Full-time schedules:
  • 40 hours per week, Saturday - Sunday (5:30am - 4pm) & Monday - Wednesday (1:30pm - 10pm) m 1st/2nd shift
  • 32 hours per week, Thursday - Sunday, 1:30pm - 10pm, 2nd shift
  • 32 hours per week, Friday - Monday, 9:30pm - 6am, 3rd shift
• Competitive hourly wage of $19.25 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• You are authorized to work in the U.S.
• You are able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license BSIS Guard Card and additional 32 hrs. security trainings. (Additional trainings may be obtain during the hiring process)
• You are at least 21 years of age
• You have a TWIC card
• You have a CA. Driver License and clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Must be CPR Certified (credential can obtained during the hiring process)
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
