Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Location: Carteret, NJ
Schedule: Full Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: General Manager

About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards. This role involves managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity in a cold storage environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Team Supervision
    :
    Lead and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and enforcing company policies.
  • Daily Operations
    :
    Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, proper handling of goods, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Inventory Management
    :
    Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance
    :
    Ensure all employees follow safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and personal protective gear, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Process Improvement
    :
    Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and accuracy.
  • Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Leads, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    :
    Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities. Provide reports on operational performance, staffing, and inventory levels.
  • Equipment Management
    :
    Ensure all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, is well-maintained and operating correctly. Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues.
  • Cold Storage Compliance
    :
    Ensure that products are stored and handled according to cold storage requirements, maintaining appropriate temperatures and product integrity.
What You Bring to the Pak
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in cold storage or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory management.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in cold storage environments with temperatures as low as
    -20°F.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to work the hours of 5 AM – 4:30 PM.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually
