Job SummaryThis position provides administrative support for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program primarily organizing and managing program-related paperwork. This position is located at our Cartersville Campus. Applicants MUST be currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College as a student.
Responsibilities- Understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.
- Assemble folders with required forms and materials.
- Organize and file paperwork.
- Make copies and scan documents.
- Participate in mandatory training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and current GHC student with Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) currently being met.
- Current-Year FAFSA on file with all verifications and any other requirements complete.
- Currently enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours (in most instances).
- Some prior experience is preferred but not required; job-specific training will be provided.
- Interest in medical field is preferred.
Salary is $12/hour
19 hours/week

- Knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of customer service with some experience.
- Ability to follow specific directions and instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
- Ability to work independently on a task and to utilize appropriate critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving within area of responsibility.
- Detail-oriented.
- The Director of Continuing Education supervises and directs the work of this position.
