The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for both preconstruction estimating and day-to-day project management once jobs are awarded. This role requires strong technical knowledge of drywall systems and the ability to lead projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing using OST and Quick Bid
- Manage awarded projects including scheduling, budgeting, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Communicate with clients, architects, general contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and profitability
- 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and/or project management
- Proficient with OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and Quick Bid software
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Proven ability to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
