A leading regional medical center in the rapidly growing community of Cartersville, Georgia is seeking a Neonatologist to join its newly established Level II NICU. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a high-quality neonatal program in a supportive, collaborative environment. Managing infants requiring Level II NICU support Attending high-risk and C-section deliveries Covering a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable Conducting daily in-house rounds Taking call from home overnight Supporting newborn resuscitation and stabilization Collaborating closely with nurses and allied health professionals Participating in quality improvement and care coordination initiativesSchedule Daytime in-house rounding Nighttime call from home Weekend responsibilities as part of the call rotationRequirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Board eligibility must be within 5 years of residency completion Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain Completion of a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship (prior to start) Experience or training in Level II NICU care DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) thrift and profit-sharing plans Basic and optional life and AD&D insurance Short and long-term disability Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Paid parental leave & sick bank Family Medical Leave (FMLA) Employee Assistance Program And More
