Gerdau is seeking college students for the G.Start program. G.Start is a paid internship program focused on developing students for future technical and managerial positions. It is project-focused and values diversity and inclusion.

Gerdau is a global company with more than 120 years of entrepreneurship and achievements in the steel industry. The program seeks individuals with high learning agility who aim to outperform in various settings and circumstances.

• Participate in a project-focused internship within the G.Start program.
• Contribute to assigned projects and collaborate with teams across the organization.
• Demonstrate eagerness to grow personally and professionally in a global company.

• Undergraduate entering Junior or Senior year.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 (preferred 3.0 or higher).
• Well-rounded applicants with leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
• Strong leadership potential, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.

Opportunities to learn include Microsoft Office Suite, CAPEX, AutoCAD, Solid Works, and related tools.
